Roto presents Designo Heat, a roof window with integrated infrared heating. Designed to transform attics into comfortable living spaces, it quickly diffuses radiant heat that mimics the sun, reflecting 97% of the thermal radiation back into the room for optimized energy consumption. With a Uw value of 0.99 W/m²K and sound insulation of 38 dB, Designo Heat ensures optimal comfort and effectively prevents condensation and mold growth. Its heating power can reach 363 W for triple-glazed units heated up to 70°C, regulated by a bimetallic switch for safety and efficiency. Installation is the same as for a standard tilt-and-turn window, requiring no additional heating work, and the function can be controlled via a switch or a wireless thermostat. Thanks to its compatibility with renewable energy sources, Designo Heat is an innovative, safe, and eco-friendly solution for attic conversions.
