Renolit Alkorplan honored in Hungary

The Spanish company Renolit Alkorplan, a member of the German Renolit Group, was recognized by the Hungarian Roofing Association (EMSZ) in the 2025 Roof of the Year competition. This award recognizes the installation of Renolit Alkorplan Design and Alkorplan Solar membranes on the roof of the Katalin Kovács Center, the Hungarian National Kayak and Canoe Academy located in Sukoró. This striking project is characterized by its undulating roof design, reminiscent of flowing water, which balances material flexibility with a metallic aesthetic. The Design system successfully reconciled these two requirements, while the Solar solution allowed for the integration of photovoltaic panels without perforation, thus minimizing structural constraints. The project, carried out in partnership with Design Plan, Fényjel Stúdió, West Hungária Bau, and Lajtaszig, benefited from comprehensive technical support from the group, from the design phase through to implementation.
