Ubbink is expanding its range of roof underlays with Multivap Altus+, a solution specifically developed for construction sites located up to 1,500 meters in altitude. Intended for roofs in low- and mid-altitude mountain areas, this new R3-class underlay is an alternative to the bituminous elements traditionally used to provide supplementary waterproofing for roofs in mountain climates. Designed for installation following the ventilated double-roof principle, Multivap Altus+ addresses the constraints linked to temperature swings, heavy snow loads and increased UV exposure. It notably stands out for its nail tear resistance, claimed to be among the highest on the market, with values of 400/300 N, thereby limiting the risk of water infiltration at counter-batten fixing points. Featuring integrated double adhesive strips, the new underlay also makes it easier to achieve continuity between sheets and helps ensure optimal water- and air-tightness on high-altitude construction sites.
