Etanx Cool Roof, Larivière’s heat-reflective waterproofing system

To address the growing challenges of summer comfort and energy consumption management, Larivière is expanding its offering with a new Cool Roof range marketed under its own Etanx brand. This thermo-reflective liquid waterproofing solution aims to limit the heating of roofs exposed to solar radiation. Thanks to high reflectance and strong thermal emittance, Etanx products can reduce roof surface temperature by up to 40%, while helping to lower air-conditioning needs and urban heat-island effects. With a solar reflectance index (SRI) above 100, the range is suited to both new construction and renovation projects. Made up of a bonding primer, a solvent-free white resin and a UV-stable liquid waterproofing membrane, the solution is applied cold, without a flame, to numerous substrates: concrete, bitumen, steel, wood or existing waterproofing layers. Its liquid application creates a continuous, joint-free membrane, ensuring surface imperviousness while durably improving buildings' thermal performance.
